FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory — 49 CFR Part 380, Appendix E. Online, self-paced, on your phone, tablet, or computer.
All 13 federal hazmat theory topics, in the FMCSA order. Each topic has a narrated video lesson and a short knowledge check. Finish all 13 topics, then pass the final assessment with 80% or better. Your completion is recorded and submitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry, which your state licensing office verifies before your hazmat knowledge test.
1. Fill in the student information below — use the name and license details exactly as they appear on your CDL or permit. FMCSA requires them for your training record.

3. Your private access code is shown and emailed to you.
4. Enter your code and take the class at your own pace — your progress saves as you go.
